![]() 2008 LAW WEEK - LAW DAY POSTER CONTEST |
![]() Despite the fact that there were no entries from the third Congressional District, we still had 331 entries in the 2008 Law Week Poster Contest. It was a challenge arranging them for the judges to view!
![]() We stacked posters on rows of chairs, three to four posters per chair . . .
![]() . . . and even laid posters out on the window seats! Imagine the problems we would have had if each poster was a full sheet of posterboard rather than a half sheet!
![]() This year's judges, from left to right: Judge Rita Gruber; Rick Ramsay, Arkansas Bar Association President Judge Mary Spencer McGowan; Judge Vann Smith; and David Vandergriff, Arkansas Bar Association Chair, Board of Governors. BEST OVERALL WINNING ENTRY ![]() ![]() AALA Member and Law Day organizer Teresa Robertson looks on as Judge Wendell Griffen congratulates Madison Allred, the winner of Best Overall Poster. Madison is a fifth grade student at Greene County Tech Elementary School in Paragould, Arkansas.

THANK YOU TERESA! Thank you Teresa Robertson for all of your hard work in organizing the 2008 Law Week activities. It was a great success and reflected well on our organization. Other AALA members who worked on the committee this year include Ashley McDougal, Shermaine Dowling, Sue Null, Tina Medlock, Sherri Black, and Sherry Murphy. This is the second year in a row that Teresa Robertson has chaired this committee and she is planning to take a well-deserved break. Please consider chairing or helping with the 2009 Law Week Committee. You will not regret it! | Return Home | Activities | Events Schedule | Law Day 2008 | Job Bank | Great Links | News & Info | Contact Us | |
